ODEDELE MARY - The Woman her Passion Drove

The saying " where there is a will, there is a way" is nothing but true, as we bring to you another successful personnel who is also an alunma of Merit college. She is a combination of beauty and brain😇 This great woman of passion worked hard and never allowed anything to discourage her. She allowed her passion to drive her.


Mary Odedele grew up as the 3rd child from a family of 9. She grew up in the city of Ibadan with her parents and late grandparents. ⠀ Mary had her primary and secondary Education in the city of Ibadan and she is an alumna of Merit Comprehensive High School. She pursued her chosen law career at Olabisi Onabanjo University and was called to the Nigerian Bar on 12 Dec, 2017. She was the head girl for 2010/2011 session and she graduated in 2011.


Her favourite teachers were Mr Abimbola and Mrs sumbo She is the initiator of an online legal awareness platform tagged “Law and Society” that is aimed at eradicating ignorance of law in Nigeria. ⠀ Her long term goal is to create an avenue where Nigerians will be familiar with their legal Rights and Responsibilities and the legal implications of their day to day activities. ⠀ She is currently practicing law in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.


She said during the interview… “there was no time I felt like giving up, I guess the passion for my choice of Career kept me moving”. This indeed shows a sense of diligence and hard work though hard-times persist….


A piece of advice from a woman her passion has brought not just success but a soul satisfying joy and fufilment... . “To the coming generations I will like to say success in life all starts from your mind, yes, you have to premeditates it, see yourself as a success even though it doesn’t look like it at first and success comes with a lot of challenges... there will be days ou might feel like giving up when you feel your best isn’t enough but you need to keep pushing harder and more importantly success comes from your passion. So, in all you do follow what you have a lot of passion for in that Passion you have your success story”.
